PLEDGES

Join us for our 10th Annual Charity Benefit Ride on October 14th, 2017. Start getting your pledges now for a better chance to win a some really great stuff. We will list the big goodies when we have them locked up. Simply print a Pledge Form from the CANCER RIDE tab and round up all the donations you can. For every $100 you obtain, you will get a raffle ticket to enter into a drawing for all three of these prizes. Yes, it is possible to take home all three. For example, if you can obtain $500 in pledges, you will get 5 tickets to place into a jar for a chance to win. Lots of incentive to join us for a great cause.

THURSDAY

Starting Thursday morning, we will get our fun riding in during the day. Afterwards around 5:00pm, we will have a Bowling Night meet and greet.

FRIDAY
Friday morning, even more people will head out riding at 9:00am for the day. Join us for this if you want, all are welcome. Friday night registration will be from 5-7:00 pm. You will be given a wrist band for each person in your party. This will be your Saturday dinner ticket and your silent auction number. No names on the silent auction sheets this year, just numbers, so keep your wristband.  You can do your own dinner Friday, or join us at a nearby restaurant at 7:00pm if you want. We would love to have you.

SATURDAY MORNING

Saturday registration will be 7:30-8:45am followed by a drivers meeting and the group photo. From there groups head out to ride on there own or join others to share the riding experience. For those who need someone to ride with, we will have a stragglers group so everyone has someone to enjoy the day with.

  SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Starting around 4:30pm we will have the included dinner complete with drinks and dessert. Take your time and enjoy the food. There will also be games to play.

SATURDAY EVENING

For the evening festivities, we will have 3 tables of raffle items that we will sell tickets for throughout the night. We will start selling tickets at 5:00pm for the 6:00pm raffle table. Then we will sell tickets after 6:00pm for the 7:00pm table. Finally we will sell tickets after 7:00pm for the 8:00pm table. Raffle tickets sell for as little as $1.00 or an arm span for $20. Please remember this is a fund raiser for those inflicted with cancer and none of the money raised goes to the raffle or silent auction items. I was fortunate enough to take a peek at the baskets and there are a lot of big ticket items for just about every interest.

Which brings us to the silent auction tables. Remember the wristbands, they come into play again. Please use your number only when bidding on an item rather then your name. If you need a wristband just for the silent auction, ask the KMATVA member hanging around the tables holding wrist bands, and we will get you one free of charge. We will once again have many items to bid on and you can pick up some very nice treasures. The silent auction closes at 8:00pm and we will award the items shortly afterwards. Everything will be under a giant tent so weather will not be a problem.

          Thank You and Have Fun.

KMATVA is having their Annual Cancer Ride as a benefit for Chix-4-a-Cause.   Chix is a non-profit organization raising money for those families in Southeastern-Wisconsin affected by cancer.

This is a family event, where everyone is welcomed to participate.  We have ages ranging from 8 yrs. old all the way to very senior members who are very young at heart.  We welcome riders of all skill levels, and we aim for everyone to have a safe and fun-filled ride.

In the seven years we have been riding for this cause we have raised over $41,000!  We are proud to be helping those in need, and are humbled by those of you returning each year, allowing us to achieve that goal.  We look forward to seeing all of you at next year's ride in October!

A very special thank you to Mountain Springs Motel for allowing us to host the event there every year.  They have been beyond gracious and we truly appreciate their hospitality.

We also would like to take this time to say thank you to all of the businesses, clubs,  and individuals who offered to help us by donating gifts and their time to our cause.  Their generosity allows us to provide some fabulous gifts which only makes the festivities at the end of the ride that much more exciting.  A big thank you to all of you and show them your own thanks by visiting their website, stores, and establishments.
